Dialoguing is a decision. If you want to use this tool - make the decision. If it has been awhile since you last dialogued, perhaps using this question would be a good place to start. "How do I feel remembering the closeness we experienced on our weekend?" Another way to start again is to find a another couple and issue a "Dialogue Challenge" to them for a specified number of days such as 10, or 30. After the number of days has expired, the couple with the most dialogues is treated to ice cream (or dinner) by the other couple. Questions may be found here. Is it possible for us to attend another Weekend? Would we get anything out of it?
YES and YES! Even if you have already attended a weekend, you may attend another one. Your relationship is at a different place than it was on your original weekend so you will be able to apply the concepts taught in a different manner. One possible analogy is that of a car. Just because you took it to the repair shop 3 years ago doesn't mean that you never have to take it back for a tune-up or adjustment. All on-line reservations of Lutheran Marriage Weekends are now centralized on one website - www.GodLovesMarriage.org |
